About Emotioncubes
The development of Emotioncubes and the thinking behind the system.
Brendan Murphy
During my work as a therapist, I kept noticing the same pattern.
Clients often understood why they were struggling.
Yet many still couldn’t make sense of what they were feeling.
I began wondering whether therapy needed a clearer way of working with emotional experience itself.
That question led me to formulate the Six Elements of Emotion to guide clients through their emotions. When the thought struck me that I could transfer the Six Elements onto the six faces of a cube, the Emotioncubes were born.
